Read and watch the fantastic reels and work of the cinematographers I've had the pleasure to work with here!

The combination of technical camera knowledge with artistic vision and visualization has resulted in many stunning collaborations and productions with these fantastic people. I owe so much to their patience and willingness to teach me about film shoots and video production.

Luke Saagi

Luke is a Toronto based Cinematographer/ Director of Photography who has a diverse lighting palette, ranging from natural to creative lighting.

Beyond perfected lighting, Luke has a keen eye for a balanced frame with a seamless interpretation of detail and motivated movement. At an early age Luke had a knack for the creative arts, creating stop motion animations, which ignited his passion for live action storytelling.

After years of shooting short films and exploring the art of landscape photography, Luke furthered his knowledge for motion pictures by attending The Toronto Film School for Film Production. This is where his passion and lighting expertise solidified and developed his stylization techniques to enhance a story.

The connections he built with his experienced instructors through The Toronto Film School have given him the opportunity to work as a lighting technician in I.A.T.S.E. 873. Luke cherishes these high-budget production experiences and transfers them into his own work as he continues to learn and grow as a cinematographer.

Luke focuses mainly on commercial and narrative projects, but is always looking to challenge himself with productions of any size. Luke is a reliable, dedicated, creative-minded individual who prides himself on perfecting any project that comes his way. Luke is always available for freelance work.
